As part of its ongoing efforts to improve hospitality and accessibility, Temis Innovation has redesigned the lighting in its common areas – reception halls, corridors and circulation areas – in collaboration with Sécurlite, a French manufacturer renowned for its sustainable and high-performance lighting solutions. These spaces, often perceived as mere transition areas, nevertheless play a key role: they ensure user safety and are the first image visitors see, reflecting the identity and values of the campus. 

Smart, tailored lighting 
To meet these challenges, Sécurlite supported TEMIS Innovation from the project definition phase onwards, proposing a tailor-made solution with CAPTAIN luminaires equipped with presence detectors, targeting compliance with standards using the right number of luminaires. 
This elegant and durable ceiling light structures and embellishes common areas, bringing consistency and elegance to the entire building. It is suitable for low-energy commercial buildings and ideal for meeting PRM standards. 

A sustainable and high-performance solution 
Entirely eco-designed with a base, plinth and crown made from recycled PC, the CAPTAIN ceiling light offers IK10 20J impact resistance. It is equipped with a high-performance, repairable LED system, with up to 2700 lm output and a luminous efficacy of over 130 lm/W, maintaining a flux of over 72,000 hours in L80B10.  

Easy to install, it connects to its independent base in ONE CLICK via an integrated connector. Its light unit can be removed and repaired without having to replace the luminaire. 

When connected, CAPTAIN can be programmed via the Lumicare application, an in-house developed connectivity solution that makes it easy to optimise installations for greater energy savings, comfort and ease of use.
